Top choice for sales and service teams

RepLab homepage, November 2026

RepLab

Best for sales and service teams across locations that want certification before the first real conversation

RepLab does one job in the training stack: it makes sure a rep can hold the conversation before a customer does. A manager uploads a script or call recording and RepLab builds an AI customer from it, or picks one of 40+ ready-made scenarios. Every attempt is scored 0 to 100 on the team's own scorecard, and reps certify at the pass mark. Alliance Medical reported a 3x close rate on competitive procurement deals.

Where it stands out

  • Scored on your own scorecard; certification gated on the pass mark
  • Readiness by rep, team and location for multi-site operators
  • Managers build scenarios from a script or lost call, no engineering
  • Real conversations scored on the same playbook through SalesAsk

Worth knowing

  • No content library, course authoring or LMS
  • English, Spanish and French only
  • 10-seat minimum, and the G2 listing has no reviews yet

SalesHood

Best for mid-market teams that want a visible starting price

SalesHood is the one enablement platform here where you can see a number before the sales call: G2 shows it starting at $45 per user per month, supplied by the vendor. The pricing page publishes plan limits instead, with Essential at 40 AI Role Play submissions per license and Pro at 80, and Unlimited removing the caps. 08
Second Nature homepage, November 2026

Second Nature

Best for L&D teams running one role play program in many languages through an existing LMS

Second Nature is the one tool here besides RepLab that is practice only, and it fits sales training software lists because of how it plugs into an LMS. It connects through SCORM or LTI, so an L&D team with Docebo or Cornerstone can add conversational role play as a lesson. The homepage claims 30+ languages and 2,000+ teams. Oracle NetSuite reports a 32% increase in sales opportunities, and GoHealth cut onboarding from nine weeks to five.

Where it stands out

  • SCORM and LTI, so it drops into any LMS as a lesson
  • Broad language coverage and 437 G2 reviews
  • Six free roleplays on the site without a demo

Worth knowing

  • Practice only, so you still need a content and course platform
  • Scoring rubric and real-call scoring are not described
  • Voice recognition is the most-tagged complaint on G2

What separates the good tools from the demos

Most of these tools demo well. These are the things that decide whether one still earns its seat count a year in.

01

Whether reps practice or just complete

Mindtickle says its Copilot has reviewed over 730,000 role play submissions, and SalesHood caps AI role play at 40 submissions per license on Essential and 80 on Pro. RepLab sets no cap.

02

Whose scorecard the AI grades against

Highspot's training page says scorecards focus coaching on proven actions, and Showpad's readiness page says Pitch AI scores clarity, delivery and key points. Neither says whether you can use your own criteria.

03

How long until reps are trained

G2 reviewers put implementation at two months for Mindtickle, Allego and Second Nature, three for Showpad and four for Seismic. Allego's own pricing page says a typical deployment takes about four weeks.

Before you buy

Five questions to ask in every demo

Ask every vendor the same questions, RepLab included. The answers show the gaps faster than a feature grid.

  • Can you score a roleplay on our scorecard during this call?
  • How long until a manager builds a scenario without your help?
  • Do you score our real calls the same way you score practice?
  • Which languages are live today, not on the roadmap?
  • What does the contract need: seats, minutes or a services package?

Why teams choose RepLab

The enablement platforms on this list store content, assign courses and report completions, and most now add an AI role play. RepLab starts from the other end and asks whether the rep can hold the conversation. Every attempt is scored 0 to 100 on the team's own scorecard, and a rep is certified only at the pass mark. Alliance Medical reported a 3x close rate on competitive procurement deals. RepLab is a practice layer, not an LMS.

How we scored them

The RepLab team wrote this page, and RepLab is listed first, so read our placement with that in mind. We compared the eight platforms on team fit, how practice is scored, who builds scenarios, real-call scoring, languages, security certifications and price. Facts about the other seven come from vendor sites and G2 listings, read in November 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, we write Not published.

Our bias, stated plainly

We make RepLab. To keep this fair we only used facts each vendor publishes, marked third-party claims, and wrote where others fit better.

01

Scoring

Can practice be scored on your criteria and weights, or only the vendor’s?

02

Realism

Does the AI customer react to what the rep says and how they say it, by voice?

03

Setup

How fast can a manager build a first realistic customer without help?

04

Proof

Are real conversations scored on the same playbook, so you can see change?

05

Coverage

Languages, team types and channels supported today.

06

Trust

Security standards published, and how pricing is quoted.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the best sales training software in 2026?

For most buyers it is a pair. Mindtickle, Highspot, Seismic, Allego, Showpad or SalesHood holds courses and content, while RepLab or Second Nature handles practice and certification. RepLab fits stores, branches, call centers and the field.

Is RepLab an LMS?

No. RepLab has no course library, content management or SCORM player. It is the practice and certification layer: reps practice by voice, and every attempt and real conversation is scored 0 to 100 on the team's scorecard.

Which sales training platforms publish pricing?

SalesHood is the only one with a number, $45 per user per month as a starting price on G2. Allego explains its model, per user per month billed annually with a typical three-year term, without prices. The rest quote after a demo.

Which platforms include AI role play, and in which plan?

All eight do in some form. Highspot puts role play in its Better and Best plans, Showpad in Advanced, and SalesHood meters it at 40 submissions per license on Essential and 80 on Pro. RepLab and Second Nature are role play first.

Where do the G2 numbers on this page come from?

Ratings (review counts) read from G2 in November 2026: Mindtickle 4.7 (2,401), Highspot 4.7 (1,206), Seismic 4.6 (1,805), Allego 4.6 (735), Showpad 4.6 (1,909), SalesHood 4.6 (853), Second Nature 4.7 (437). RepLab is listed, no reviews yet.
